My name is Amanda Norman and it is my great honour to continue her legacy.
In February 2025, I took proud ownership of Reiki Academy from my Reiki Master, Pauline.

With gratitude and love, I accept Pauline’s handover of Reiki Academy and Tara-Hypnotherapy.
She is a wonderful Reiki Master who still to this day continues mentoring me with her wisdom and vast knowledge. I too instill these qualities in my students of Reiki. I couldn’t ask for a better Reiki Master.
Thank you Pauline for everything you have done for me. I love you dearly.
A Word From Pauline Mahony
Reiki Academy was created by me, Pauline Mahony in 2000.
I found that Reiki worked well with the subconscious mind, meditation and worked very well with hypnotherapy.
Tara School of Hypnotherapy was started by my late husband John Anthony Mahony (Tony) in 1988, following completion of a degree in applied psychology. I joined the school as a stooge for John as I go very deep under the hypnotherapy. The school was held in a hospital in Aigburth.
Clients were also seen at 51a Rodney Street, Liverpool. Later, the school moved to 104 Rainbow Drive, Halewood Village, Liverpool L26 7AG.
I successfully became a partner in the business after completion of my degree in applied psychology. Following the death my husband John in 2008, I became the sole owner of Reiki Academy and the Tara School of Hypnotherapy. I continued changing people’s lives with healing and meditation until my retirement in 2023.
Amanda Norman learned both Reiki and Hypnotherapy with me and we always keep in touch. She is an excellent healer and teacher, and it is an honour to be able to pass the teaching schools to her. I know that they are in safe hands and the high standard of teaching will continue.
